On 2 September, Friday at the Historic occasion of Onam in Kochi, Kerala Commissioned the first largest ever indigenous inventory of INS Vikrant aircraft warship carrier by PM Narendra Modi.
Constructed by cochin shipyard limited (CSL), a public sector shipyard under the ministry of ports shipping and waterways and designed by the indian navy in-house, warship design bureau (WDB), and made by the Indian navy, engineers, scientists and workers.

Amount spent for INS buildup is 20,000 Crore.

Self Reliant-The mission of self-reliant is going in the govt. of PM Narendra Modi and for making the INS, special steel was required that India was on Russia but Russia denied to give that is why the work of making the Aircraft remain shut for two years then India become self-reliant to make indigenous steel which is developed by DEDO scientists and produced by Indian companies.
Development- earlier India have only one INS (INS Vikram Aditya) but now INS Vikrant also. INS Vikrant has only 8 countries i.e America (11 which is the maximum amongst in the world), China (3), Italy, Britain, India (2). India is the 3rd most powerful country in the naval army now. France, spain, and Russia (1). Earlier Russia have two INS but during the war against Ukraine, Russia released one of its INS.
History Maintenance-The INS Aircraft carrier is dedicated to Chhatrapati veer Shivaji Maharaj who built such a navy for the strength of sea power, which kept enemies on their toes.
